Field of application: Applicable for protection of insulated electrical cables. Installation may be made with building into the wall or concrete by conventional technology and may be installed exposed as well. Tubes are applicable in dry, dusty, contaminated or periodically humid, hazy, vaporous or corrosive vaporous rooms having “C” and “D” classification for inflammable risk (between temperature range of (-5) °C and (+60) °C. It protects cables and tubes on the medium level of mechanical employment. The type of protection will be specified by the properties of pipe network and its accessories and the development of connections. Material: Rigid PVC for electrical use

Field of application: Applicable for protection of insulated electrical cables. Installation may be made with building into the wall chase or above the false ceiling or can be laid. Tubes are applicable in rooms having “C” and “D” classification for inflammable risk (between temperature range of (-5) °C and (+60) °C without any strong mechanic effects. Execution of Product: Smooth surface outside and inside with round cross-section

Strength properties:

Flexibility: Before bending practical to preheat the bending length along the contour by rubbing or any other way to 40-45 °C. By smaller diameters (MÜ III. 11-16.) practical to use the bending insert and bed produced by VSZM. By bigger diameters (above MÜ III 23.) necessary to use the bending insert after preheating on.

Compressing strength: on the result of 125 N compression lasting dents (less than 10%), the decrease of the outside diameter is less than 25%, there is no crack on the surface.

Impact resistance: After treatment at 60 ± 2 °C for 240 hours and then at -5 °C during 2 hours at least 9 from 12 test tubes will not be broken under effect of 0,6 J.

Heat-resistance: 60 ± 2 °C

Ignitability: tubes are hardly inflammable according to V0 and self extinguish

KPE Pressure pipeline for portable water supply

Application field: Pipes are applicable for potable water supply as pressure pipes. They can be laid in ground ditches and can be fitted together with other pipes – if they are available a statement of application from Hungarian Water Conservancy – with quick binding fittings. Pipes can be welded with other pipes or fitting parts, if the manufacturer can certify the compatibility of the pipes and fitting parts. Advantageous properties makes possible a good use of this pipeline in public utilities as follows: corrosions-proof, little weight, simple laying and handling, scales hardly develop in this pipeline as opposed to traditional steel or iron pipelines. As pipes are made with longer length or in rolls, it is no necessary the frequent lengthening, so occurrence of defects is reduced. In addition the smooth inner surface of the pipes is advantageous to the conditions of water-flow.

Application field: Pipes are applicable for cold- and hot-water networks, central- or under-floor heating networks with the following network’s properties. (working temperature)

Structural characteristics of cross-linked polyethylene pipes:

Basic pipe:

At both execution/types the inner pipe is called, which is in direct connection with cold or hot-water or with the heating-agent and meets the necessary requirements of conduit and water networks and products for construction purposes. (lifetime, temperature, pressure, fire-proof quality, hygienic, health and environmental protection, noise and vibration protection, energy saving)

Material: chemical (with silane) cross-linked polyethylene – signing - PE - Xb

Outer layer:

It can be found only at NOOXYPIPE ®- 3 – a plastic preventing layer, which can reduce and stop through the wall of pipe the oxygen diffusion in the pipe

Material: Ethylene – vinyl-alcohol ( EVOH ) copolymer

Middle layer:

It can be found only at NOOXYPIPE ®- 3 – Binding or adhesive layer, which help by sticking of inner layer (basic pipe) and outer layer

Material: special plastic polymer

The layers of the three-layer NOOXYPIPE® - 3 PE – RT are developed during the production, and through its lifetime they cannot be broken off each other.

Quality characteristics:

The quality of the pipe is determined by the with silane cross-linked polyethylene with high density (PE – Xb), which will be cross-linked in a short period of time after production. (A spatial tied structure is developed from the linear polymer chains, which makes possible the use of these products also in building for a long lifetime.)

Smooth outer and inner surface. On the outer surface any scratches, which can be damaging the preventing layer are not permitted. On the inner surface some linear slight scratches, which developed during the production and does not influence the rigidity and lifetime of the pipe can be permitted.

Chemical-proof quality:

The pipe resist all kind of materials can met in a construction. Pipe should be prevented from detergent materials, oil, bitumen. (At special materials suggested to ask for help by the manufacturer)

Weather-proof quality:

The pipe’s material can be damaged by UV radiation. Through a longer storage the pipe should be prevented from the damaging effects of weather (storage in roofed site)

Marking:

Application and identification details are indicated by the producer on the outer surface of the pipe in every metre, which is well readable without any expedient..

Those pipe has not any preventing layer against oxygen diffusion, therefore in the heating network should be prevented those parts, which are capable for corrosion (separation with heat-changer, additive – inhibitor – in the heating system, application of non-corrode materials, etc.)

The cross-linked polyethylene pipe can be directly laid into concrete and is applicable for all kind of heating system specified in Standard of MSZ EN 1264 – 1 : 1999.

By storage, transport and install the pipe should be prevented from any damaging. Installation of damaged and dirty pipes is forbidden!

The pipe must not be broken by installation! The heating of the pipe by flame is forbidden. (If it is needed just by hot water.)

By installation under plaster or out of the wall a protective pipe is necessary because of thermal expansion. Protective pipe should be water-proof.

By longer pipe sections (which is not laid in concrete) a compensational curve is necessary because of length changing. ( U Z )

Pipes can be equally bounded by disengaged – clamping, otherwise by express junction, not releasable moulded metal bind. (The supplementary control and drive in of binding should be assured.), (Threaded bindings must not be concreted)

If necessary for lengthening of pipe a stamped binding is applicable. In this case the pipe should be supported by a supporting sleeve from inside.

The heating system should be planned by a responsible designer and according to the plans should be completed and put in working by the guidance and control of a qualified technician.

PE-RT Wall and under-floor heating pipe

Standard: DIN 16833 : 2001, DIN 16834 : 2001, DIN 4726 : 2000

Number of the technical permission in building industry: A – 138 / 1997

Application field: Pipes are applicable for heating systems, like wall and under-floor heating, climate and heating systems with radiators of low temperature with the following network profiles (working temperature / pressure.)

Wall and under-floor heating system, climate and radiator heating of low temperature: 70oC / 4 bar

- Pipe’s dimensions should be selected as a function of working temperature and pressure (4–10 bar).
- The three-layer pipeline have a protective layer preventing oxygen diffusion.
- The single-layer pipeline is applicable with the following conditions:

Structural properties of the polyethylene pipes with increased heat-proof quality:

Basic pipe:

At both execution/types the inner pipe is called, which is in direct connection with the heating-agent and meets the necessary requirements (lifetime, temperature, pressure, etc.)
Material: Polyethylene with increased heat-proof quality – marking – PE – RT

Outer layer:

It can be found only at NOOXYPIPE ®- 3 – a plastic preventing layer, which can reduce and stop through the wall of pipe the oxygen diffusion in the pipe.
Material: Ethylene – vinyl-alcohol ( EVOH ) copolymer

Middle layer:

It can be found only at NOOXYPIPE ®- 3 – Binding or adhesive layer, which help by sticking of inner layer (basic pipe) and outer layer

By multi-layer pipe the wall thickness is related only to the basic pipe!

Strength caracteristics: A non-dimensional number, which describe the strength of the pipe.

Calculation formula: S =( d- en ) /  2e(dn= outer diameter, e= wall thickness

Lifetime: minimum 50 years, according to application experiences and calculations, supposing a pipe with recommended rigidity applied in heating systems, described in the Standard.

Surface:

Smooth outer and inner surface. On the outer surface any scratches, which can be damaging the preventing layer are not permitted. On the inner surface some linear slight scratches, which developed during the production and does not influence the rigidity and lifetime of the pipe can be permitted.

Degree of Oxygen diffusion : less, than 0,1 g/m3/day
Linear coefficient of thermal expansion: according to Standard DIN 52612: 1,95 exp – 4 / k

Weather-proof quality:

The pipe’s material can be damaged by UV radiation. Through a longer storage the pipe should be prevented from the damaging effects of weather (storage in roofed site)

Marking:

Application and identification details are indicated by the producer on the outer surface of the pipe in every metre, which is well readable without any expedient.

Colour:

Self-coloured or according to customer’s requirements.

Application guide:

-  The heating system should be planned by a responsible designer and according to the plans should be completed and put in working by the guidance and control of a qualified technician. The maintenance should be identified by the designer.
- The outer layer of NOOXYPIPE â - 3 PE - RT will basically stop oxygen diffusion, but the system’s parts should be carefully selected according to corrosion.
-  Before the installation the pipes should be surveyed. Only damage free pipes can be installed.
-  The NOOXYPIPE â - 3 PE - RT is applied for all kind of heating systems according to Standard of MSZ EN 1264.
-  Pipes can be equally bounded by disengaged – clamping, otherwise by express junction, not releasable moulded metal bind. (The supplementary control of binding should be assured.)
-  The straight parts of the system and the binding of the pipes should be formed according the thermal expansion rules.
-  The working parameters of the heating systems cannot exceed the 70oC, 4 bar. For a short period of time the pipe wears out the temperature of 100° C. In these circumstances the expecting lifetime of the pipe is 50 years according to DIN 16834.
